🤞 crossed fingers Skin Tones — All 5 Variants
Crossed fingers is hope and luck: “fingers crossed” before results, exams and flights. The gesture also has an older folklore job — crossing your fingers behind your back while telling a small lie was said to cancel it. The crossed hand shows plenty of skin, so all five modifiers apply.

Usage and context
It appears right before the outcome: waiting for grades, job offers, sports results. A modified version makes it your fingers doing the crossing, which reads more invested; the yellow default is the generic good-luck sign. It pairs with prayer hands and the four-leaf clover in wish messages.
Regional caveat: in Vietnam the crossed-fingers gesture is considered rude. The emoji is usually understood as luck elsewhere, but if the reader is Vietnamese the association may be different.
