👉 backhand index pointing right Skin Tones — All 5 Variants
Backhand index pointing right points at what comes next: the next message, the link, the thing to the right. It is the navigation emoji of the hand family, and because the back of the hand shows, the five skin-tone modifiers are fully supported.

Every variant copies exactly like the base character: tap a card and the sequence is on your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere. Skin-tone modifiers (U+1F3FB–U+1F3FF) were added to the standard in Unicode 8.0 (2015). backhand index pointing right itself was added in Emoji E0.6 (2010).
Usage and context
It directs attention in tutorials and screenshots, marks “next →” in sequences and emphasizes something beside it. A modified version makes it your hand doing the pointing; the yellow default is the neutral arrow-finger. It pairs with the pointing-left version for either-side references, and it often shows up beside links in step-by-step guides.
Pointing at people with the index finger is considered impolite in several cultures — in Indonesia it is the standard example. Pointing at objects and directions is universally fine.
