Emoji 0.7
Emoji release 0.7 · Unicode 7.0 · 2014 · 139 emoji
Emoji 0.7 (Unicode 7.0, 2014) absorbed the Webdings and Wingdings symbol fonts into the emoji world: the neutral face, the frowning face, the hole, the eye, the speaking head and a family of animals — dog, cat, chipmunk, dove, spider — became proper emoji with color rendering. It is a quiet release, but it gave the symbol set the finishing touches the 2010 batch was missing.
