Emoji 12.1
Emoji release 12.1 · Unicode 12.1 · 2019 · 168 emoji
Emoji 12.1 (Unicode 12.1, 2019) is the gender-inclusive hair release: red hair, curly hair, white hair and bald person emoji — each gender-neutral by default, with man and woman variants and full skin tones. It quietly fixed a real gap: the only way to show some hairstyles had been gender-specific.
